WOOOW this guy looks like he hasn’t trained a day in his life !!!

Natural food guys – he says whilst eating cheerios and drinking tropicna orange juice. How many bodybuilders/powerlifters do you know who drink orange juice from a carton ? NON at least not any of the good ones. There is no magic forumula/supplement guys they are only there to aid you. Best advice; strong training combined with a sound healthy and consistent diet full of protein, carbs and fat, YES FAT It is essential!

@The3dmuscleblog amino acid chains link protein cells together to create muscle. if you supplement without protein then you have no platform to build muscle. You can obtain protein from the foods you eat, but digesting 200 or more grams of protein per day from food alone is a difficult task…

Why put more stress on an old persons body by introducing protein? I’d suggest going with the simpler amino acids which don’t accumulate in the body and are virtually harmless . An old persons digestive system isn’t usually what it was when it was younger. Tearing apart those tough protein molecules isn’t easy, even for a youngster. Try supplementing with amino acids for more vitality. I highly recommend spirulina. It has the perfect combination of amino’s.

@neckmin Caffeine does get your wired no question, but its 100% true that caffeine releases cortisol, a catabolic hormone.

@windex708 First, if your going to call me an idiot, spell ELECTROLYTES correctly. Second, creatine and sodium will help you with a pump, but yes, the body does bring blood to the muscle when working out. Third, NO supplements are a complete scam. never have they been proven to increase nitrates level in the blood. Prove it! Caffeine releases cortisol, which is a catabolic hormone! So no, its not a good idea. If you need caffeine to get motivated to workout, then theirs something wrong.

You my friend seem like an idiot! You used gatorade that is full of electrolites then added more.. Then you say electrolites and creatine give you a pump? I dont know if you are aware of this but bloodflow is what causes a pump. I dont think creatine or electrolites will help you with that. NO supplements dialate your blood vessiles which, increases bloodflow. And the reason alot of people use preworkout supplemelts filled with caffine is they need motivation to get into the gym.

@AdverbAdjective No I dont eat breakfast but your right. You should eat. Most likely after 8 hours of sleep your going to be in a catabolic state. Muscle wasting. So drinking a protein shake in the morning is a good idea. I would say drinking oatmuscle with a hydrolyzed protein is the best thing preworkout.

do you eat breakfast before that or just the preworkout drink? I’ve always wondered about eating breakfast or if a preworkout shake is good enough for morning workouts because I wanna make sure my muscles aren’t starving during my workout so I can get a lot of good lifting in. but I hate waiting for my food to digest

love protein factory but there was an interesting thread on bb.com in the science section, it was a debate about potent anti-oxidants having an effect on muscle gains. Apparently they should be avoided around training times. you should check it out…it seemed pretty validated.

@moss4life100 Jack3d is just a stimulant product. If it took out the creatine and the Arginine it would do the exact same thing. Arginine has never been proven to actually work for blood flow or NO production. GlycoCarn however has, but is extremely overrated. The preworkout in this guys vid is great. I actually like Gatorade’s pre workout. I also like Plasmatic by EST. That stuff works and is stimulant free.

@studywar its also a mistake to spend your youth tied to a woman studywar instead of having sex with lots of women. then to add insult to injury when you both reach middle age she becomes a horny cougar and dumps you have has sex with lots of men. but now you are too old to get any women. so during the years that you were horniest you missed out, and during middle age when she was horniest she has fun. because men are dipshits who are brainwashed by all the lovestory propaganda movies.
